NFF™ (NAO Fluidic Flare™) burners, for example, incorporate patented no-moving-parts Fluidic Seals™, built into the top of each refractory-free flare tip to

(1) turn back intruding air and prevent burn-back and burn-thru in flare tips, thus extending flare burner life by a factor of 5-to-1;

(2) eliminate maintenance-prone refractory linings that crack, spall and clog the drain holes of ineffective seals, thus accelerating corrosion and potentially catastrophic burn-thru conditions;

(3) eliminate the need for massive density differential (molecular seals) with their significant windloads on elevated stacks and their heavy consumption of costly purge gas.
